Max Christiansen

Max is the founder and director of Online Warrior Productions. He is the host of ‘Assist Me!’ and is the voice you hear in ‘The Online Warrior’ video-game commentaries. Max grew up in the competitive atmosphere of the gaming arcades of the 1990’s, and competitive play is a major pastime for him. He enjoys making videos and commentating on gaming techniques and culture almost as much as actually playing games, and plans on entertaining his fans with cheesy acting, top-tier commentary and 80’s references for a long time to come.

 

Matt Simmons

Matt plays the role of Doom in ‘Assist Me!’ He has also assisted in writing certain scripts for the series, and provides commentary for the series ‘Doom & Max Play MW3.’ Matt has been a hardcore gamer since the dawn of creation, and would gladly tell you how wrong you were if you said any game ever was better than Ocarina of Time.

 

Mike Young

Mike is an actor, costume maker, and writer for ‘Assist Me!’ He has been involved in gaming his whole life, and has been a part of the cosplay community since 2003. With some help from his wife Barrie, he designed and created most of the costumes and props for ‘Ultimate Assist Me!’ and Season 2.

 

Andrew Schieffer

Andrew is a writer, director and cinematographer by trade, living in the Los Angeles area. He has experience in both commercial and independent productions, and is the director of photography for ‘Assist Me!’ He also serves as a producer and has even drafted a few scripts for the series.

 

Ben Shuman

Ben is a student actor who plays Strider Hiryu in ‘Assist Me!’ and has done stunt double work as well as cameo work as miscellaneous characters. He frequently assists with grip duty, makeup, costumes and props, and whatever else he can manage to help with.

 

Lyndsey Addison

Lyndsey does hair and makeup for the actors in ‘Assist Me!’ and had a cameo role as Jill Valentine in her S.T.A.R.S. uniform as well as other minor cameo work.

 

Jessica Christiansen

Jessica is Max’s wife and Bennie’s handler/trainer. She keeps Max on task, feeds the ‘Assist Me!’ crew during production, and gets Bennie to do all of those adorable things he does (like bite people.)

 

Dan Campbell

Dan is one of the frequent key grips on the set of ‘Assist Me!’ and has provided assistance with audio recording as well as lighting and camera work.

Matthew Welzenbach

Matthew is the script supervisor for ‘Assist Me!’ and has done additional work as a grip. He has also appeared on camera in minor/walk-on roles.

 

Barrie Young

Barrie is our web designer and helps to create costumes and props for ‘Assist Me!’ She created the Rocket Raccoon puppet and helps her husband Mike to make several of the costumes and props when he gets in over his head.

 

Benny Button

Benny is Max and Jessica’s dog, and mostly lays around being sleepy and providing moral support. He’s not as useful as other members of the staff- ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNODOG.
